Based on Ariel Bloch's and Chana Bloch's contemporary translation, The Song of Songs is an ancient universal love poem about the awakening of love between a youthful shepherd and a beautiful young woman. The couple meets in an idyllic landscape and discovers love's pleasures. Their mutual adoration and intimacies are expressed through rich metaphors and symbolism.
